Ranting:
I really hate it how when you go to most restaurants in the US you can only find mixed berry jelly and grape jelly. Sometimes if you are very lucky (and I use the term lightly) you might be able to find some sort of apple-ly substance, but usually nothing worth while. Its very frusterating because the mixed berry tastes nothing like various berries mixed together, but like a bland gelatinous muck and both the grape and the apple are absolutely no better. What happened to the time when they offered marmalade and strawberry. Not to mention raspberry, blueberry and peach?
The same thing is true with syrup. There used to be huge wheels of syrup at Village Inn. At least 6 choices. Now you're lucky if you get 2.
