Freakishly Happy

It may not be the nectar of the gods, but it is definitely the nectar of procrastinating, sleep deprived college students everywhere! Ahhh the sickeningly sweet taste of citrus infused cotton candy, and the yellowish amber liquid that fizzes as you pour it over ice.

Yes that's right folks! It's an all nighter-night! John is stationed at the desk with a full bottle of freshly made cold coffee, and I'm am parked on the couch surrounded (well, okay there are only 2) by empty cans of Red Bull. Don't try this at home kids!

The funny thing about procrastination is that it catches up with you. Currently I'm pounding out a paper for my music class tomorrow. Luckily the topic is interesting AND it's in English.
The only problem is that I can't seem to get the Cocoa Cola song out of my head... "I'd like to buy the world a Coke and keep it company."

Can anyone guess what today is?
