I have a latest obsession as of ten minutes ago.
I just found this great miniature lemon tree, that you can grow indoors, that produces full sized fruit twice a year! It is supposedly easy to grow, which leads me to wonder why everyone doesn't have a lemon tree!

Now if only keeping goats on the bus were this easy!

Is it me..
Or maybe they've been actually been working on the bus so much they haven't remembered they have cyber fans out there?
I have been seeing them working so that's a plus.So yeah...*Cough*buscamJohn*cough*
Nooooo....
That can't be it. I can't imagine that they would not leave those of us who live vicariously through them without pictures of their bus progress and without communications! They are far too nice for that kind of behavior!
I'm putting my money on: A group of very depressed aliens abducted them and took them to their Plutoid "Gloom" to teach them how to be freakishly happy and bubbly.
No really...
I saw them just today out there.
I think you'd better call up and kickstart the ol blog here.I crack the bus whip ;-]
Finally!...
A viable remedy for Yankee Scurvy!
Ok...Completely unrelated flash from the CITRUS NETWORK NEWS desk...
Grapefruit rinds work great as a Shampoo substitute in salt water. No really it's true! they lather right up like dog slobber! (um, yeah...in a GOOD way)...TRY IT!
Hooray for dog slobber!
Thank you Filthy Farm Girl from Saving us from the scurge of Yankee Scurvy! We are all squeaky clean and have most of our teeth thanks to you!
Seriously, we LOVE Filthy Farm Girl Soaps. We have four different bars of it in the shower right now..one to suit most moods! Even Jorgi loves (er... well, she'd love it more if it didn't accompany a bath) Filthy Farm Girl!
Ending Yankee Scurvy today, tomorrow Global Warming! Perhaps that's a bit ambitious, but I wouldn't be too surprised either.
And then there's
this comment.
I was sitting in the store today looking at those soaps.Yeeeah...Do you guys make a soap for boys?Maybe regular scented or something?LOLEverything is candy/fruit scented.
And this is why..
You should go to the Rutland Famer's Market! The Filty Farm Girl, CO. sells many many more kinds of soap here! They have Filthy Lumberjack Soap and even Filthy Pirate soap! they even have soap for Filthy Farmdogs. I'm sure there is something there that won't challenge your masculinity.
Nice lol
Challenge my masculinity...haha
The damn things smell good enough to eat, I'll say that.
It's amazing
you know...You can actually be freakishly bubbly on the internet as well as in person.Scary.
At least there's no way for you to get underfoot/in the way on here right?LOL
Oh you'd be surprised....
I have amazing powers at getting underfoot, even in unsuspected and unprobable places, like the internet.
Mwah ahah! It is my evil super-power. But generally I choose to use it for good, and not evil.
It's been awhile and
I haven't seen you kids out working on the bus.Do I have to get the whip and drums out?The bus ain't gonna build itself...
seriously...
Vicarious living gets tougher every day.
I KNOW!!!
I don't think the "kids" quite understand that they are killing us out here when they don't want to post and update!
There are other kinds!
It's amazing! They do have other kinds. There are varities of orange, grapefruit, persimon, lime and calamondin (whatever that is) I found this website very helpful:
http://www.fourwindsgrowers.com/solver/varietyinfo.html
Also, the Improved Meyer Lemon, is supposed sweeter and more palatable than store-bought lemons. I talked to my friend Kate, who is a chef, and she said that you could eat them almost like an a tart orange.
*sing* lemon tree, very pretty, and the lemon flower is sweet, and if you buy an improved meyer's lemon... it's not too sour to eat. :)
Other kinds, too?
Do they come in other styles... like grapefruit, orange or peach?!?
If they did, I think I might have to get me one of them!
