Hey jac. I didnt know that you never heard of a banana slug! I had to kiss one before at the camp, it was at the camp I went to for school in 6th grade. Plus it was all slimy and gross. yUCK.
Banana slugs are native to California. They are banana yellow with black spots and can grow up to 12 inches long. They live in the forests along the coast. They actually do look very similiar to John's banana in the picture.
